Everybody's favorite Maine Pirate Woodworker, Deneb Pulchaski of Lie-Nielsen, Argggg Matey! Deneb is the Paul Bunyan of Hand Tools. I saw him and Chris Schwarz battle it out with a couple rip saws once. Deneb was done and polishing off a roast beef sandwich by the time Schwarz got his kerf going. Next time you see Deneb, ask him about his wallet. Let's just say it's not Italian leather.

Andrew Lunn of Eccentric Toolworks. Andrew does not work for Gorilla Glue, but he does some modeling for them on the side. Those ads with the hairy paw grabbing a glue bottle? Those are Andrew's hands. And the hairy face on the bottle? You guessed it.

Linda Rosengarten, Ron Hock's wife. Linda makes us feel like kids coming home from school to cookies and milk. And she watches out for us, makes sure we're getting enough good food to eat during the event (ask any exhibitor--it's hard to eat right at these things) I got caught by Linda buying a Cincinnati bratwurst during the show. Later, I had a granola bar and and apple. Linda, I hope you're reading this.

Dan Barrett of D.L. Barrett and Sons adjusting a bullnose plane. Dan is not only a master planemaker, but also a master carpenter. He's also a master smart-, well, uh, you get the gist. Dan was kind enough to bring me an adjusting hammer that his son Kyle made from some incredible bird's eye maple.
